YPSILANTI, Mich. (February 12, 2026) – The AAU Track & Field Indoor season is nearing the finish line and has the home stretch in sight. Before the 2026 AAU Indoor Track & Field National Championships cap things off, the AAU 14 & Under Indoor National Championships will provide us with a quick glimpse into what’s to come. 

For the 11th year, the 2026 AAU 14 & Under Indoor National Championships will take place at Eastern Michigan University’s Bowen Field House in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Runners will take their marks on February 14 with hopes of capturing an AAU national championship ring and All-American patch. 

An estimated 1,100 athletes will make the journey to Ypsilanti to compete on the track. Athletes from 28 states and Canada will be represented with 110 teams and 193 unattached athletes from every corner of the country. 

The AAU 14 and Under Indoor National Championship was developed out of a grassroots indoor youth track program and has been running strong since 2003. And it has grown in a major way with this year seeing hundreds more athletes competing for a chance to earn AAU All-American status. 

Saturday and Sunday will also feature Long Jump, High Jump, and Shot Put mixed into the races. Taking to the starting line first will be the 4 x 800 M Relay race at 10:00 in the morning. To see a full breakdown of the schedule, click here. 

The 2026 AAU Track and Field Indoor National Championships are coming up quick as we reach the finish line of the indoor season. Athletes will race to Virginia Beach for the 2026 AAU Track & Field Indoor Nationals on March 6 – 8.
